About this exercise

An explosive full-body conditioning drill in which both rope ends are lifted overhead and slammed simultaneously to the floor with maximum force. The movement targets the shoulders, traps, and core while delivering a high cardiovascular demand ideal for power endurance training.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing the anchor point, feet shoulder-width apart, holding both rope ends
  • Hinge slightly at the hips and bend the knees to load the body
  • Drive through your legs and swing both arms overhead, lifting the ropes as high as possible
  • Slam both ropes to the ground simultaneously with maximum force
  • Absorb the impact by re-bending the knees and hips into the next repetition
  • Keep your core braced and back neutral throughout every slam
  • Continue for the prescribed duration or number of slams
