The barbell one arm twisted clean and press is an advanced total-body movement combining a single-arm clean from the floor with an overhead press and a rotational twist. It demands coordination, power, and stability from the entire posterior chain and shoulder complex.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart next to a barbell positioned on the floor
  • Grip the center of the barbell with one hand using a neutral or overhand grip
  • Hinge at the hips and bend your knees to set up a clean starting position
  • Explosively drive through your legs and hips to pull the barbell upward
  • Rotate your torso and rack the bar at shoulder height in one fluid motion
  • Press the barbell overhead until your arm is fully extended
  • Lower the barbell back to the shoulder, then control it back to the starting position
  • Complete all reps on one side before switching to the other arm
