About this exercise

A warm-up stretch using a resistance band to open the chest and shoulders. Rotating the band from the front over the head and behind the back improves shoulder mobility and prepares the upper body for pressing or pulling exercises.

How to Perform

  • Grasp a resistance band with both hands wider than shoulder-width apart
  • Hold the band in front of you at hip height with arms straight
  • Raise the band overhead in a wide arc and continue pulling it behind your back
  • Slowly return the band to the front following the same path
  • Repeat for 10–15 controlled repetitions, keeping the arms straight throughout
