About this exercise

A resistance band biceps curl performed with both arms angled at 45 degrees away from the body. The angled position shifts the peak tension and alters the line of pull, creating a unique stimulus on the biceps compared to a standard curl.

How to Perform

  • Stand on the center of the resistance band with feet shoulder-width apart
  • Hold one end of the band in each hand with palms facing upward
  • Position your arms at a 45-degree angle away from your torso, elbows slightly in front of the body
  • Curl both hands upward toward your shoulders while maintaining the 45-degree arm angle
  • Squeeze your biceps at the top of the movement
  • Slowly lower your hands back to the starting position under control
