About this exercise

A dynamic agility drill combining a backward shuffle with a lateral leg kickout, training multi-directional movement, hip stability, and cardiovascular conditioning. Suitable for athletic warm-ups and cardio circuits.

How to Perform

  • Begin in an athletic stance with a slight forward lean and knees bent
  • Shuffle backward two to three steps while keeping your hips low
  • Plant your feet and kick one leg out to the side in a controlled motion
  • Bring the leg back to center and stabilize before the next rep
  • Shuffle forward to return to the starting position
  • Alternate the kickout leg each rep or as directed
