About this exercise

A full-body plyometric conditioning exercise that combines a single-leg glute kickback with a simultaneous overhead arm press. It challenges coordination, balance, and cardiovascular endurance while activating the glutes, shoulders, and core together.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright with feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides
  • Shift your weight onto one leg and hinge slightly forward at the hips
  • Kick the free leg back behind you, squeezing the glute at the top
  • Simultaneously press both arms straight overhead as you kick back
  • Return the leg and lower the arms in a controlled motion
  • Repeat for the target reps, then switch legs
