The Alternate Leg Kick Sit Against Wall is a quadriceps activation exercise performed seated with your back braced against a wall. By alternating extending one leg at a time, it isolates and strengthens the quadriceps while the wall keeps the torso stable and upright.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor with your back flat against a wall, knees bent and feet flat on the floor
  • Keep your spine tall against the wall and brace your core lightly
  • Extend your right leg until it is straight out in front of you, foot flexed
  • Hold briefly at the top, feeling the quadriceps contract
  • Slowly lower the right leg back to the starting position
  • Extend the left leg in the same manner
  • Continue alternating legs for the target number of repetitions
