About this exercise

The World's Greatest Stretch is a dynamic full-body mobility drill combining a deep lunge, thoracic rotation, and a hamstring stretch in one fluid sequence. It primes the hips, thoracic spine, and posterior chain for training or daily movement.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart
  • Step forward into a long lunge with your right foot, placing both hands on the ground inside your right foot
  • Rotate your torso to the right and reach your right arm toward the ceiling, holding briefly
  • Return the right hand to the floor beside the left hand
  • Push your hips up and back to straighten the front leg and stretch the hamstring
  • Return to the lunge position, then step back and repeat on the opposite side
