About this exercise

An advanced isometric core exercise where you balance on your sit bones in a V-shape by simultaneously raising your legs and upper body off the floor, maximally activating the abs and hip flexors under sustained tension.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back with legs extended and arms stretched overhead
  • Exhale and simultaneously lift your legs and upper body off the floor, reaching your hands toward your feet
  • Balance on your sit bones in a V-shape position with your body forming a roughly 45-degree angle on each side
  • Hold the position with your core fully braced and your spine long
  • Breathe shallowly but continuously while maintaining the hold
  • Lower back down with control to end the set
