About this exercise

A forearm isolation exercise where you clench your hand into a tight fist and perform controlled wrist flexion curls to strengthen the wrist flexors and improve grip endurance. It can be performed seated with the forearm resting on a surface for stability.

How to Perform

  • Sit at a flat surface and rest your forearm on it with your hand hanging off the edge, palm facing up
  • Clench your fingers into a firm, tight fist
  • Slowly curl your fist upward by flexing your wrist as high as comfortable
  • Pause briefly at the top to feel the contraction in your forearm
  • Lower your fist back to the starting position in a controlled manner
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching arms
