About this exercise

A bodyweight triceps extension performed with suspension straps or gymnastic rings. By leaning forward and pressing through the handles, you target the triceps under significant load using your own body weight as resistance.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing away from the suspension anchor point and grip the handles with both hands
  • Walk your feet forward to increase the angle and lean your body forward, arms extended overhead
  • Lower your body by bending at the elbows, bringing your hands toward your forehead
  • Keep your elbows pointing forward and your body in a straight line throughout
  • Press back to the starting position by extending your arms fully
  • Control the descent and avoid letting your elbows flare out to the sides
