About this exercise

Suspension trainer prone Ts target the rear deltoids, middle trapezius, and rhomboids by raising the arms out to the sides into a T shape while in a horizontal, face-down position. The movement builds posterior shoulder strength and improves scapular retraction.

  • Lean forward and downward until your body is roughly horizontal and face-down
  • Let your arms hang straight below the anchor point as your starting position
  • Raise both arms out to the sides until they are in line with your shoulders, forming a T
  • Retract your shoulder blades at the top and hold briefly
