About this exercise

The Suspender Power Pull is a unilateral suspension-trainer row combined with trunk rotation, where you pull toward the anchor with one hand while opening your torso to the side. It builds back strength, rotational core stability, and shoulder mobility simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing the suspension anchor and grip one handle with your working hand, arm extended
  • Lean back to create body-weight tension, keeping a straight line from head to heels
  • Pull yourself toward the anchor by driving your elbow back powerfully
  • As you pull, rotate your torso open toward the ceiling and extend your free arm upward
  • Pause at the top with your chest open and shoulder blade squeezed
  • Slowly lower yourself back to the start under control
  • Complete all reps on one side before switching to the other hand
