About this exercise

A bodyweight biceps curl performed using gymnastic rings or a suspension trainer. By leaning back and gripping the rings with an underhand grip, you use your own body weight as resistance and curl yourself upward, challenging the biceps along with stabilizing muscles.

How to Perform

  • Walk your feet forward so your body is angled back with arms fully extended in front of you
  • Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels, core braced
  • Curl your hands toward your forehead by bending your elbows, keeping your upper arms parallel to the ground
