The Squat Thrust is a dynamic full-body conditioning exercise that transitions between a standing squat and a high plank, training the core, legs, and upper body simultaneously. It is a staple movement for building functional strength and elevating cardiovascular output.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart
  • Bend your knees and place your hands flat on the floor in front of you
  • Jump or step both feet back simultaneously into a high plank position
  • Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels
  • Jump or step both feet forward to return to the squat position
  • Stand up tall to complete one repetition
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
