About this exercise

A dynamic plyometric exercise that combines a lateral side step with a rowing arm pull, training lower-body agility and upper-back engagement simultaneously. The movement improves coordination, cardiovascular fitness, and postural muscle activation.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together and arms extended forward at shoulder height
  • Step laterally to the right while pulling both arms back in a rowing motion, squeezing the shoulder blades together
  • Return your arms forward as you bring your feet back together
  • Step laterally to the left and repeat the row
  • Keep your core engaged and maintain a slight forward lean throughout
  • Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions
