About this exercise

A plyometric conditioning drill that combines lateral shuffling steps with explosive hops, training agility, hip power, and cardiovascular endurance. The movement pattern mimics sport-specific footwork and challenges the glutes, quads, and calves.

  • Shuffle two to three quick steps to one side by pushing off the trailing foot
  • At the end of the shuffle, explode upward into a hop off both feet
