About this exercise

A seated core rotation exercise performed with both arms extended straight out in front of you. The movement targets the obliques and deep abdominal muscles by rotating the torso from side to side against gravity.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat, leaning back slightly to engage your core
  • Extend both arms straight out in front of you at shoulder height, palms facing each other
  • Exhale and rotate your torso to the right as far as comfortable, keeping arms parallel to the floor
  • Return to center in a controlled manner
  • Rotate to the left and return to center to complete one rep
  • Continue alternating sides with a steady, controlled rhythm
