EasyAbsCore

About this exercise

A beginner-friendly plank variation where the hands grip gymnastic rings set at an elevated height, reducing the load on the core compared to a full horizontal ring plank. The inclined position allows athletes to build ring stability and core endurance before progressing to a flat ring plank.

How to Perform

  • Set gymnastic rings at a height between waist and chest level
  • Grip the rings and step back so your body forms a straight diagonal line at an incline
  • Keep your arms fully extended below your shoulders with a firm grip on the rings
  • Engage your core, glutes, and quads to keep the body rigid
  • Prevent the rings from swinging by pressing them downward and slightly inward
  • Hold for the target duration while breathing steadily
  • Step forward and release the rings to exit
