The Overhead Triceps Stretch is a simple static stretch that targets the long head of the triceps by placing the arm in full elbow flexion behind the head. It helps relieve tightness in the back of the upper arm and improves overhead mobility.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall or sit upright with your spine neutral and shoulders relaxed
  • Raise one arm overhead and bend the elbow, placing your palm flat on your upper back
  • Use your opposite hand to gently grasp the raised elbow and apply light downward pressure
