About this exercise

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back with legs extended and arms resting at your sides or hands placed lightly under your lower back for support
  • Press your lower back into the floor and engage your core
  • Lift both knees toward your chest, curling your hips slightly off the floor
  • Hold the tucked position briefly at the top, squeezing your abs
  • Slowly extend your legs back to the starting position without allowing them to touch the floor
