EasyCore

About this exercise

A seated breathing exercise performed in the lotus or cross-legged position. Slow, deliberate breath cycles calm the nervous system, improve oxygen flow, and deepen hip-flexor and inner-thigh flexibility while the spine stays tall and neutral.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor and cross your legs, placing each foot on the opposite thigh (full lotus) or simply cross your shins comfortably (easy pose)
  • Rest your hands on your knees with palms facing up or down
  • Lengthen your spine upward, relax your shoulders away from your ears, and lightly close your eyes
  • Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts, allowing your belly to expand
  • Exhale fully through your nose or mouth for 6–8 counts, softening the belly
  • Continue the breath cycle for the set duration, keeping the body relaxed and still
