About this exercise

A plyometric exercise involving continuous side-to-side hops that build explosive lateral power, coordination, and agility in the lower body. The movement challenges the legs and stabilising muscles while keeping the heart rate elevated.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together and knees slightly bent
  • Push off both feet and hop to the right, landing softly on both feet
  • Without pausing, immediately hop back to the left
  • Keep your chest up, core braced, and land with soft knees each time
  • Maintain a quick, rhythmic pace throughout
  • Continue alternating sides for the prescribed reps or duration
