About this exercise

The kettlebell seesaw press is an alternating overhead press with two kettlebells — as one arm presses up, the other lowers, creating a seesaw rhythm. The constant offset loading challenges core stability and shoulder coordination throughout the movement.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder height in the rack position
  • Brace your core and keep your torso upright throughout the set
  • Press one kettlebell overhead to full lockout while simultaneously lowering the other to the rack position
  • Without pausing, reverse the motion — press the lowered bell up while the raised bell descends
  • Continue alternating in a smooth, controlled seesaw rhythm
  • Keep your wrists straight and the bells balanced at the top of each press
  • Avoid rotating your torso; both sides should receive equal resistance
  • Complete the desired number of reps per arm
