About this exercise

A cardio drill combining the classic jumping jack movement with simultaneous forward punches, elevating the heart rate and engaging the shoulders and core. Commonly used in circuit training, warm-ups, and conditioning workouts.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together and arms relaxed at your sides
  • Jump your feet out to shoulder-width while throwing punches forward with both arms simultaneously
  • Jump your feet back together as you retract your arms to the ready position
  • Keep your core engaged and knees slightly soft throughout to absorb impact
  • Maintain a steady, rhythmic pace for the desired duration or rep count
