About this exercise

The inner thighs pulse is a bodyweight exercise that isolates the adductor muscles through small, rhythmic pulsing contractions performed from a side-lying position. The continuous tension created by the pulsing motion effectively tones and strengthens the inner thigh without any equipment.

How to Perform

  • Lie on your side with your body in a straight line and your head resting on your lower arm
  • Stack your legs on top of each other, then bend your upper leg and place that foot flat on the floor in front of your lower knee for support
  • Lift your lower leg a few inches off the ground, keeping it straight and toes pointed forward
  • Perform small, controlled upward pulsing movements with the lower leg, squeezing the inner thigh at the top of each pulse
  • Keep the movement small and rhythmic without letting the leg drop fully to the floor
  • Complete all reps on one side before switching
