About this exercise

A corrective mobility drill that trains active hip flexion by lifting the knee upward through the full available range of motion. It helps restore proper hip flexor function, reduces stiffness, and improves movement quality in daily activities and sport.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and your weight on one leg
  • Brace your core and keep your back straight
  • Slowly lift the opposite knee upward toward your chest as far as your hip allows
  • Hold briefly at the top of the movement
  • Lower your leg with control and repeat on the other side
