About this exercise

A floor-based stretch that targets the hip flexors and rectus femoris by extending the hip backward from a kneeling or prone position. Regular practice helps counteract the tightness caused by prolonged sitting and improves hip mobility for squats and lunges.

How to Perform

  • Keep your torso upright and your front shin vertical
  • Shift your hips gently forward until you feel a stretch along the front of the rear thigh and hip
