About this exercise

The Glute Bridge Walk challenges glute and hamstring stability by maintaining a bridge position while alternately stepping the feet outward and back. This dynamic movement builds unilateral hip strength and improves pelvic stability.

How to Perform

  • Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart
  • Drive your hips up into a full glute bridge, squeezing your glutes at the top
  • While keeping your hips elevated and level, take a small step out with one foot
  • Step the other foot out to match, maintaining hip height throughout
  • Walk your feet back in one at a time to the starting position
  • Continue walking out and back for the desired number of repetitions
  • Keep your core braced and avoid letting your hips drop or rotate during the walk
