About this exercise

A plyometric agility drill that combines forward and lateral hops in a continuous pattern, training explosive leg power, balance, and directional change. It develops reactive lower-body strength and cardiovascular endurance.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet together and a slight bend in your knees
  • Hop forward, landing softly on both feet with knees bent to absorb impact
  • Immediately hop sideways to one side, maintaining balance on landing
  • Continue alternating between forward and sideward hops in a flowing sequence
  • Keep your core engaged and your gaze forward throughout
  • Pump your arms naturally to assist momentum and maintain rhythm
