About this exercise

The Feet Front Tap is a rhythmic cardio and coordination drill where you alternately tap each foot forward in front of you while keeping a quick, steady pace. It improves agility, foot speed, and lower body coordination.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart and slight bend in the knees
  • Shift your weight to one foot and tap the other foot forward in front of you
  • Quickly bring the tapping foot back and shift weight to tap the opposite foot forward
  • Alternate taps at a brisk, controlled pace
  • Keep your core engaged and stay light on your feet throughout
  • Maintain an upright posture with eyes focused forward
