A standing abdominal exercise that uses a resistance band anchored overhead to simulate a crunch. It trains the abs under constant tension without requiring floor work, making it a practical accessory movement for core development.

How to Perform

  • Anchor a resistance band to a fixed point above head height
  • Stand facing the anchor and hold the band with both hands at forehead level
  • Brace your core and flex at the waist, crunching your torso downward against the band resistance
  • Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement
  • Slowly return to the upright position under control
