About this exercise

A biceps curl performed with a resistance band instead of free weights. Standing on the band provides progressive resistance that increases as you curl upward, effectively targeting the biceps without the need for dumbbells or a barbell.

How to Perform

  • Stand on the middle of a resistance band with feet hip-width apart, holding one end in each hand
  • Keep your elbows pinned close to your sides throughout the movement
  • Curl both hands upward toward your shoulders, rotating the palms up as you lift
  • Squeeze the biceps at the top of the movement
  • Slowly lower your hands back to the starting position with control
