About this exercise

A floor-based core exercise performed with the legs in a wide frog position, alternating knee drives toward the chest in a crunch motion. It targets the abs and obliques while the frog stance adds an inner-thigh stretch component.

How to Perform

  • Lie on your back with your arms extended overhead and legs wide in a frog position, soles of feet together
  • Engage your core and lift your shoulders slightly off the floor
  • Drive one knee toward your chest while simultaneously crunching that same-side elbow toward it
  • Return to the starting position with control
  • Alternate sides, driving the opposite knee and elbow together
  • Keep the lower back pressed gently into the floor throughout the movement
